The chassis is hardcoated at XRAY?s own in-house fully robotic hardcoating line, ensuring a perfect hardcoated surface every time.

Non-essential material below the engine, fuel tank, and diffs was removed to allow for the lightest weight and lowest possible center of gravity. The downstop setscrew area has been greatly reinforced, and all screw holes on the bottom of the chassis are countersunk to give a very smooth chassis underside with no protruding screw heads.

The XB808 chassis has been completely redesigned to provide a solid foundation for XRAY?s high-performance off-road racer. All-new weight distribution was integrated into the buggy?s design, with centralized placement of internal parts for improved side-to-side weight balance.

The new longer chassis results in increased stability and improved handling in all different racing conditions. The redesigned weight balance ensures improved jumping and drive through bumpy sections. The refined stability makes the car easier to drive.
