Central layshaft with press-fit adapter. The layshaft is manufactured exclusively by HUDY from world-renowned top-secret "Hudy Spring Steel".

The hollow layshaft construction provides ultra low weight and low rotating mass. The adapter is accurately pressed directly onto the layshaft to give ultra-true spur gear rotation.
