TeamXray.co.uk New web site launched - 07 Aug 07

In response to requests, customer feed back and a change in the way credit cards are accepted on line, an new web site has been launched. Whilst it looks the same as the before, we have moved a large amount of the working on to our own servers. The credit card system still remains with reputable companies who can implement higher security standards required for credit card details. Whilst the credit card change has forced the move on us quicker than we would like, the web site is fully operational. The new web site will allow us to move towards a clearer system of showing if items are in stock or if not, when we estimate they will be in stock. We are also looking to include on line order tracking, product reviews, hot ups & alternative parts and a customer loyalty scheme.

The new shopping cart and member registration system has been rigorously checked and found to be working correctly. However we are not taking this for granted. Should a customer discover a coding problem with the TeamXray.co.uk web site, we would be grateful if you could let us know. In recognition of any help in pointing out coding errors, we would look to switching on the customer loyalty scheme to those registered (member) customer accounts. We would set a discount level and duration that would reflect the gravity of the coding error.

Whilst a lot of effort has gone in to the coding of the site, there are a few things we are not happy with and are working on them. At the moment registered customers only have a small link in the bottom left corner of the web site to take them to the registration or admin pages for members. We hope to have this added to the main links area at the top of the page in the next few days.

Newsletter subscription removed

Due to the amount of spam and robots posting to the newsletter, this feature has had to be removed. We hope to have it back soon.

XB8-EC Luxury 1/8 Nitro Off-Road Buggy - 27 Mar 07

The XB8EC is here and in stock. We have also started to list spares for this kit. The new V2 chassis and wide shocks are listed on the XB8 pages.

NT1 1/10 Nitro Touring Car, XT8 1/8 Nitro Truggy and XB8-EC - 05 Feb 07

The NT1, XT8 and XB8-EC have been added to the web site for payment of a deposit, so you can be first in the queue. We have no launch dates or confirmed prices, but the later half of March looks good for the XT8 and XB8-EC.

NT1 1/10 Nitro Touring Car and XT8 1/8 Nitro Truggy - 15 Jan 07

XRay announces the launch of 2 new cars. The NT1 1/10 Nitro touring car and the XT8 1/8 Nitro Truggy. We are already preparing for their arrival and hope to start stocking the spares as soon as they arrive in the shops. To see when they do arrive, subscribe to our Newsletter.

T2R sold out.

Dear Customer,
We would like to announce that the demand for the T2R has exceeded production capacity for this version of the car, and as such the recent batch of T2R kits was completely sold out. As there are other new projects in production at this moment, XRay expect the next delivery period of the T2R will be before the summertime. If you are interested in the T2R, we strongly recommend you pre-order it as it is very likely that even the next production batch will be completely sold out.

Any update on the exact delivery period will be posted on the Web site, so please keep watching the Web site for news and updates.

As we have had such a fantastic response to our attendance at recent events that we have decided to continue supporting certain events. Listed below are the events we intend to be at.

Site updated - 29 April 06

T2, NT18T, NT18, M18T and XB8TQ
The since we last sent out a newsletter all the kits above have been launched and are or have been in stock, this includes the NT18T. Spare parts are also flowing freely, there have been a few delays in C Hub parts for the T2, but nothing drastic.

New hot up parts
There are currently hot up parts appearing on the TeamXRay.com web site that are not appearing with us, this is due to us not having a UK price for these items. As soon as we get a price we will be adding them to our site.

Event support
We are compiling a list of events that we will be attending this year. There has been a delay in getting this list out while we made sure where we are going to be.

Site update
There have been a few alteration to the way the site works, hopefully this will not impact on anyone.

M18 T - 29 Aug 05

New M18 and M18T option parts
With the launch of the new M18T XRay have increased the electronic option parts for the M18 series of kits. New batteries, speed controllers and motors are on their way. We hope to bring you full details in the next couple of weeks.
